Sport Shorts The Battle of Monmouth Lady Stallions, a U17 girls fall soccer team, is looking for one or two dedicated select players for the future. The Lady Stallions are 15 girls from 11 different high schools who are serious about soccer and were finalists this year in state cup and the National 3 vs. 3 championship in Orlando, Fla., in January. Back for its second year, the Lions Pride Basketball Camp will host three weeks this summer: July 14-18, July 21-25 and Aug. 4-8. The cost is $110 for one week, and discounts apply for more than one week. Enrollment is limited to 60 campers to ensure quality of instruction. The 14th Annual Jersey Shore Summer Duals, team and individual competition, will be held from June 30 to July 3 at Matawan Regional High School from 6-10 p.m. The tournament does not include 2003 graduates. The top two teams will advance to the Super Summer Duals at Toms River South High School, on a date to be announced, at no additional cost. Thursday will be the individual competition, which is a double-elimination tournament. Awards will be given to first through fifth places.
